MUSIC HEALS CD DRIVE

Looking for a good way to get rid of the clutter of unused CDs that fill up the shelves of your home? Let your old music be new music to the ears and hearts of those in need of healing this holiday season!

Donate new or gently used CDs and portable CD players and MUSIC HEALS CNY, at no fee, will then distribute them to hospitals and health care facilities in hopes of building CD libraries so patients may check music in and out. There will be drop off points at various local music stores around Central New York.

Are you an artist that wants to widen your audience? This is great way to be heard while helping others! Donate your CDs!

BRINGING THE HEALING POWER OF MUSIC TO PATIENTS & HEALTH CARE FACILITIES THROUGHOUT CENTRAL NY

OUR MISSION

Music Heals CNY’s objective is to bring live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities throughout Central New York. We facilitate healing from all types of sickness through the power of music. Music Heals CNY uses music to promote and complement the healing process for patients, families and caregivers. Additionally, Music Heals CNY seeks to raise awareness of the beneficial effects of music and entertainment.

IN FACILTY PERFORMANCES FOR PATIENTS & FAMILIES
Music Heals CNY will provide live in room bedside performances given by volunteer artists, for patients undergoing treatment or who are unable to leave their hospital beds.

CD MUSIC DRIVES Music Heals will hold seasonal CD Drives around CNY. Donate your new or gently used CDs and new or used portable CD players. At no fee, we will provide health care facilities in CNY with CD libraries and players for patient use. Our next Drive will run from October 15th through January 1st.Drop off locations to be announced.

BENEFIT CONCERTS
With funding from grants and donations, Music Heals CNY will produce benefit concerts for patients and families in need of funds to help pay for their medical bills and expenses.
